We are so proud to be one of the first music festivals to sign up to the Black Lives in Music initiative and are working closely with the organisation to widen opportunities for black musicians at our festival.

Chronotope: Music in a Different Time and Place is a brand new commission from Marsden Jazz Festival which has been specially created in summer 2020 in response to the unprecedented global pandemic of Covid-19.

The festival is committed to protecting our artists, staff, volunteers and local community, and as such we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Marsden Jazz Festival.
