Description
Ben Crosland’s original Ray Davies Songbook project premièred at Marsden Jazz Festival 2015. The album attracted four star reviews and receives extensive radio play. The Quintet has performed Crosland’s imaginative arrangements to enthusiastic audiences at clubs and festivals.
Volume Two takes in well known hits, including Till the End of the Day, Lola, Autumn Almanac, Days and Ape Man, alongside lesser known, yet equally engaging, B sides and album tracks.
With Ben Crosland (bass) Dave O’Higgins (saxophones), Chris Allard (guitar), Steve Lodder (piano and keyboards) and Sebastiaan de Krom (drums).
