Portmanteau are a horn heavy funk/soul outfit from Leeds with tight horn section and an in-the-pocket rhythm section. Consisting of some of the finest musicians, the nine-piece have set themselves apart from the norm with a striking image, sound and groove that rivals the greatest. Infectious beats, powerful horns, an enigmatic front-man and (arguably) most importantly a killer backline give this band a high energy live show that few can match.
