Description

A selection of local micro brewery real ales available from 10.30am until late.
All day food – pulled pork ‘hog roast’ and house specialities.
Gin and cocktail bar open from 7pm.

9.30 – 10.30am: Hope Bank strings – open rehearsal / workshop
All ages and abilities welcome – bring your violin, viola, cello or bass and play some groovy tunes!

11.30 – 2.15pm: Neil Shaw-Hulme
Top pro saxophone player Neil Shaw-Hulme puts Hanson saxophones – made in Marsden – to the test. With Pete Hughes (keyboards), Gary Boyle and Sylvan Richardson (guitars) and Steve Gibson (drums).

Neil Shaw-Hulme is a jazz performer, educator and author who has played with and supported an eclectic mix from James Brown to Mrs. Merton. He plays Hanson ‘Monarch’ and LX custom alto and soprano saxophones.

2.30 to 4.30: North Halifax Grammar School Big Band
Showcasing up and coming local talent directed and led by pro trumpet player Simon Barnes.

5.15 to 6.30: James Alexander Set – setting the scene for a lively evening at the Hanson marquee – top class trumpet, vocals, bass, keys and kit.
