2022 Programme and Festival Passes Launch!

03 August 2022

The time has come – the Marsden Jazz Festival 2022 programme and festival passes are finally unleashed in the world!
On our 30th year, we’re proud to be presenting a stellar lineup of electrifying world-class jazz in our picturesque Pennine village from 6th-9th October. Have a flick through the programme, get to know our artists and nab yourself a pass to the delights we have in store for you.
All the action will be taking place in magnificent surroundings and acoustics of St Bartholomew’s Church, the “Cathedral of the Colne Valley”. Alongside some world-class acts like Gary Crosby, Emma Rawicz, Arun Ghosh, Ruby Wood and Robert Mitchell (amongst many more!), there’ll also be the delectable Street Food Alley and Market in the Park to tempt you in between the acts.
As we’re sure you’re aware, this year we are self-funded through ticket sales, due to unforeseen changes in how the festival is funded, so the festival looks rather different to usual years. With that in mind, we’d love to see your support through buying yourself a pass to the music.
Our simplified festival ticketing builds on the Full Festival Pass that we introduced in 2021 and adds great value Day Pass options too. It allows you to see more phenomenal music for less, with fewer decisions about which tickets to buy! So whether you’re coming for one day or the whole festival, there’s an easy option for you.
We are so looking forward to celebrating 30 years of MJF with you, our ever-supportive audience, in October! In the wise words of one of our audience members last year, “If music be the food of love, play on – and make it jazz.”. (Stephen)
