Sell your food, drink and products at Marsden Jazz Festival!
29 May 2019
Held over three-days on the second weekend of October each year, Marsden Jazz Festival is proud to showcase a wide range of talented jazz musicians, from internationally-acclaimed artists to local school bands and rising talent. With over 100 hours of live music in 26 venues, Marsden Jazz Festival is the biggest festival in the north attracting nearly 11,000 people.
This year, the festival will run from Friday 11th to Sunday 13th October. In addition to our ever popular Market in the Park, this year we are excited to introduce our new street food venue in St Bartholomew’s church yard!
Market in the Park
Marsden Park, the location of our dedicated youth stage, The Bandstand in the Park, will be the location of our gift and craft market where visitors can purchase gifts, craft items, toys for children, and much more. We are hoping to make the Market in the Park a truly lovely family venue and hope to welcome face painters, and other children’s activities. We will also have a few pitches available for some food stalls.
If you are a trader, craftsperson, gift shop, food retailer, a face painter, balloon artist, or any other business who would like to be involved in the Market in the Park, please see our Trader Information & Application Form
New for 2019! Street Food Alley
We listened to feedback from visitors who said they would like more food offerings, later in the afternoon and evening – the village restaurants are reserved very quickly, and many people come to Marsden to attend the festival all day, and so there was clearly a greater need for more food and drink provision.
Street Food Alley will be located in St. Bartholomew’s churchyard and will be where the majority of our food and drink vendors will be located. Close to one of our two main headline venues, The Parochial Hall, the church yard will be flood lit in the evening; there will be bands playing in the church during the day; and, there is also a planned exhibition within the church – it’s certain to be a busy hub for visitors!
